1. Can I purchase your products directly from you?

Yes! Product samplers can be purchased on-line at CedarlaneToGo.com, and includes FREE FedEx 2-day shipping.

2. Are any of your products gluten-free?

A gluten-free diet is a diet that is free of wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet, triticale and any derivative of these grains. Our 5 Layer Mexican Dip is 100% gluten-free. We also have a 3 Layer Enchilada Pie that had recently been switched to gluten-free by using organic wheat-free tamari. To distinguish the difference between the older products that may be still on the market, please refer to the ingredient listing and make sure it says wheat-free tamari.

3. What is rennetless cheese?

Rennet is an enzyme used in the production of cheese. Rennetless defines any cheese made without the use of animal derived coagulants. Typically they are vegetable or microbial instead.

4. Is the cheese that are in your products pasteurized?

Yes, all of our cheese is pasteurized and is safe for consumption.

5. Why aren't all the cheeses or ingredients in your products organic?

Due to the National Organic Program regulations our products are labeled "Made with Organic" which means they contain 70-95% organic ingredients. All of the organic and non-organic ingredients meet the stringent standards regarding cultivation, handling and processing which means that they do not contain hormones, genetically modified organisms and have not been irradiated. For more information, please see the National Organic Program website at http://www.ams.usda.gov/nop/.

6. What does "herbs and spices" in an ingredient list mean?

Due to our specialized recipes we do not specifically state what herbs and spices we use but if you have an allergen issue, please call us and we will let you know if that particular ingredient is contained in the product of interest.

7. Do any of your products contain peanuts or tree nuts? Is there any chance of cross-contamination?

None of our frozen entrees contain peanuts or peanut derivatives. Our Bruschetta and Mini Bistro Pizza contain pine nuts in the pesto, which is a tree nut and a known allergen. Our manufacturing line is dedicated to these two particular products and there is no potential for cross-contamination.

8. Why do some of your products contain two serving sizes for the nutritional information?

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sets the amounts required for the serving size. Some of our products total weight is over the amount required for 1 serving so we declare it as two servings.

9. Are any of your products Kosher?

No, we do not have any products at this time that are Kosher.
